  • An enthusiastic and bubbly physio who enjoys music, basketball, hiking and Pilates.

Evan Adair
  • Completed Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science (ACU), Master of Physiotherapy at Sydney University

  • Also works at a Sports Physio Practice in the Hills District
  • Physio for an Australian Ice Hockey Team
  • Has worked with elite rock climbers, AFL players and Netballers
  • Recently bought a house on the Central Coast with his wife to become part of the local Physio community.

  • Exercise Scientist, experienced in prescribing exercise for clinical populations since 2001 and has worked as a strength and conditioning trainer with elite athletes at the Victorian Institute of Sport
  • Australian Diabetes Council Accreditation to manage diabetic clients with education and exercise
  • Has been a professional dancer and holds a strong interest in dance rehabilitation
  • Interests include horse riding and family .

Chathura (Chad) Basnayake APAM

  • Graduated with Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree in 2018 from Australian Catholic University.
  • Member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
  • Chad is our most recent addition to the East Gosford Physio Team, and has settled in quickly, with his excellent Physio skills, injury knowledge and relaxed nature with patients.
  • Chad is passionate about using exercises to treat pain and prevent injuries from recurring, which aligns with East Gosford Physiotherapy’s Pain to Performance philosophy.
  • Chad worked as an on field sports Physiotherapist with elite Soccer, AFL and Rugby union teams in Sydney and has provided physio assistance at a number of private schools.
  • Chad has a strong intertest in sports injuries and high performance. He has a background in cricket and strength and conditioning, so he can advise you on how to use exercise to stay injury free
