Hip, Knee, Ankle and Foot Pain

Hip Pain

The physiotherapists at East Gosford Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Centre have looked at the latest research into tendons and have developed a program for hip pain, especially the type that is worse at night.

We have found it common to have a hip tendon problem causing pain on the outside of your hip often co-existing with a bursitis. If you have had your bursitis treated, and your pain has returned , we suggest you have your hip tendon assessed and treated. East Gosford Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Centre has excellent results with our management program for persisting hip tendon pain, so contact us today so we can help you.

Knee, Ankle and Foot Pain

Our physiotherapists are experts in treating the whole leg so we assess your knee, ankle and foot to get you moving again.

Knee injuries or simple knee ‘wear and tear’ arthritis is very common but there is strong evidence now to support physiotherapy and exercise to improve knee pain and stiffness and help you avoid surgery.

Ankle and foot problems like plantafasciitis, heel spurs and achilles tendonopathy (tendonitis) are common and can treated by our experienced physiotherapists.

East Gosford Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Centre has invested in technology to assess your feet and provide you with solutions for foot and ankle pain. We are able to provide you with ‘Gait Scan’ generated orthotics and simple exercises to help resolve foot and ankle pain. Muscles and joints of the feet are so important for your legs to work correctly especially with walking. We will advise you on your balance and gait and get you pain free and functioning again.

If you are over 55 years old and your leg pain has settled, you will find our Keep Moving class an excellent way to stay motivated with exercise. It is a Brain, Balance & Strength class and will keep you moving.
